OPERATION

A six-step process designed,
with clearly divided responsibility.

We focus on the guardian’s decision and action readiness; medical and on-site care services stay with the responsible institutions.

Service scope (design plan)

  • ✓Take requests and organize information
  • ✓Compare options
  • ✓Draft questions for institutions
  • ✓Record progress
  • ✓Result report

What we do not do

  • ✕Medical diagnosis or prescription
  • ✕Long-term care grade assessment
  • ✕Directly employing caregivers
  • ✕Directly running care facilities
  • ✕Unlicensed brokering (introducing people or institutions for a fee without a license)
  • ✕Directly providing medical or caregiving services

GUARDIAN FLOW

Business hypothesis

How it looks to the guardian

This is the guardian flow currently being designed. The first screen is not a complicated platform explanation but “Send us your parent’s care problem.” The guardian sends the problem, receives the result, and signs up for monthly management only for recurring problems.

01

Receive the problem

We take requests about nursing-home costs, hospital accompaniment, welfare checks, and visiting services.

02

Request materials

If needed, we additionally ask only for the long-term care grade, bills, facility name, location, and dates.

03

Classify

Sort into seven: care grade, cost, hospital accompaniment, visiting service, daily support, housing, end-of-life. End-of-life is consultation connection only at first.

04

Propose solutions

Separate what we handle directly, what to leave to partner providers, and what the family decides.

05

Connect to action

Connect to hospital accompaniment, visiting beauty care, welfare equipment, facility consultation, and administrative consultation.

06

Result report

Organize what was checked, what it costs, and what to do next.

07

Monthly management

Only recurring problems switch to a monthly report and welfare checks.

Sentences the guardian sees first

“I want to increase my father’s home-visit hours but do not know where or how to apply.” / “I need someone to go with me to a hospital appointment this week.” / “My mother is alone, and I want to combine welfare checks with visiting services.”

Result screen

Problem: adjust home-visit hours · Checked: benefits in use and co-payment · Connected: guidance to the responsible institution or NHIS if needed · Result: one-page guardian report sent

OPERATING TERMS

Business hypothesis

Operating principles (draft)

ItemOperating principle
First audienceGuardians whose parents live at home. 79.6% of recipients are at home (NHIS Yearbook).
How to submitWe are considering a web intake form or a KakaoTalk channel to begin with.
First reply targetWe aim to send the first reply within one business day of intake.
Materials requestedOnly what is truly needed: long-term care grade, services in use, dates, and area.
Five-line result reportProblem / what we checked / where we connected / cost / next action
Monthly report materialVisiting-service results, information the guardian sends, and welfare-check records if selected. In months with no visits, only a cost check and next-action guidance are sent.
Money flowThe guardian pays service fees directly to the provider. Organizing, consulting, and report fees are charged to the guardian; we do not hold money on behalf of providers.
What we do not doMedical judgment such as diagnosis, contracting or holding money on behalf of providers, and performing on-site services such as hospital accompaniment ourselves.

ONE CASE

Business hypothesis

How one case is designed to be handled

Example: “I want to increase my father’s home-visit hours but do not know where or how to apply.”

StepWhat this service doesWhat the guardian receives
1 IntakeThe guardian sends the problem. We also take the long-term care grade and the services currently in use.Confirmation of receipt and a first reply within one business day (target)
2 OrganizeWe check the grade and services in use and classify the problem as a ‘visiting service’ type.A plain-language description of the current situation
3 ExplainWe explain how many hours can be added and at what cost. For example, one 4-hour home visit is KRW 70,080, and at 15% co-payment about KRW 10,500.A numeric explanation of how much more to spend
4 ConnectWe explain how to ask the institution already in use, or connect another if needed.Where to ask and what to say
5 One-page resultWe send problem / what we checked / where we connected / cost / next action on one page.A one-page result to circulate with family

RISK & RESPONSIBILITY

Legal & operations review needed

Because health and money are involved,
we set the scope of responsibility first.

Without trust, no one hands things over. These four matters need their scope of responsibility set before operation.

AreaWhat is the issueResponse principle
Personal dataA parent’s health, grade, and service information changes hands.Collect only what is necessary and operate after consent forms and encrypted storage are in place. Example screens use only fictional data.
MedicalIt could be mistaken for a medical judgment. No diagnosis, prescription, or grade assessment, and every report carries a statement of limits.
BrokeringConnecting people for a fee may count as paid employment placement under the Employment Security Act.No unlicensed brokering. No fee for connecting until legal review is complete.
QualityWe cannot guarantee the service quality of connected institutions or staff.State that quality and accident liability rest with the provider, check insurance, and give no service-quality guarantee.

ROLE SPLIT

Business hypothesis

What the operator handles,
and what needs partners

The plan is for the operator to handle intake, organizing, and delivery of consultation results, and for on-site work to go to partner staff and institutions; the operator and partners are not yet confirmed. As use grows, we would add consultation, on-site checking, and privacy-management roles.

AreaWhat the operator handlesWhat needs partners or specialists
SiteRun the business introduction, intake screen, and consultation request screenSite management and incident response when users increase
Intake managementCheck guardian requests, classify problems, record progressCustomer-service staff when intake volume grows
ConsultationOrganize nursing-home cost, hospital schedule, and daily-service requestsConsultation by people experienced in care, nursing, and welfare
Service connectionManage the list of partner providers and pass on booking requestsProviders of hospital accompaniment, visiting beauty care, welfare equipment
Result deliveryOrganize and send the handling and cost to the guardianOn-site checking and service-quality management
Personal dataReceive and keep only what is needed; do not receive unnecessary dataSensitive-data security, data-handling standards, legal review
Payment and settlementManage payment links, consultation fees, and monthly reportsContracts, taxes, settlement with counterparties

Health-related information is sensitive data (personal data given special protection, such as health), so we prepare consent forms and encrypted storage. Connecting people and taking a fee may count as paid employment placement under Article 19 of the Employment Security Act, so we take no connection fee until legal review is complete.

HOW WE BEGIN

Legal & operations review needed

We are reviewing a start with intake and connection,
not direct staffing.

Going into direct staffing first raises legal, quality, and accident burdens, so the initial scope is consultation, interpretation, booking assistance, partner connection, and reports.

Where we should start

  • ✓Begin with intake, classification, connection, and result report, in that order.
  • ✓Connection methods and referral fees are decided after legal review.

Where we should not start

  • ✕Directly matching caregivers or care workers
  • ✕Directly running home-care institutions
  • ✕Monetizing only through facility referral fees
  • ✕Operating around free information content
  • ✕Replacing on-site action with an AI app alone

Ask us about operations or partnership.

Scope and how to use the service will be set during business review; contact us and we will share the current plan.
